Duayne and Amy Williams both grew up with a love for horses. Duayne is a Georgia native and Amy is from North Florida. The two met when a hurricane caused Amy to bring her horse to Bret Parrish's in Pavo, Georgia to evacuate. Duayne was working for Bret at that time and Amy was working towards her degree in Civil Engineering at Florida State University. Amy had ridden with Bret for several years and purchased her current horse from him. She was forced to take a break due to school and had not visited Bret in a few years. It was during that time that Duayne returned to his roots and began working for Bret, and well as they say...the rest is history!
Precision Ranch was formed to offer quality training, lessons, and clinics with an approach that always honors God. The goal is to provide the best training possible while always being honest with the horses and owners.
Duayne has a passion for helping people learn and enjoys helping people develop a relationship with their horse. He has trained and coached both riders and horses to national level competitions. Our clients will confirm that Duayne's biggest asset is being honest, a talented trainer, AND a great teacher as well.
Duayne has worked for several years for many of the top trainers in the industry including Bret Parrish, Gil Galyan, and Steve Heckamen. His program focuses on developing a custom training program, with building a solid western pleasure foundation on each horse before adding the all-around events, that allows each individual horse to succeed. He also strongly emphasizes that the owner, if applicable, become knowledgable and capable of riding their horse too.
Health and comfort of our horses is #1 priority at Precision Ranch. We believe is making a horse as comfortable as possible because they are athletes. Our program incorporates chiropractic and acupuncture treatments.
Duayne believes that limiting the number of horses he trains will ensure a quality experience for both horse and rider. By limiting the number of horses in training he is able to carefully monitor and care for each horse to ensure their well being.
